A Walk in the Park...

Today was a trip into the city, with lunch and a walk around the area. Went from Darling Harbour round to the Art Gallery and then down through the Botanical Gardens. Took two pictures today and going to put both of them up. The first one is of the menace that is terrorising many trees, residents, and goodness knows what else - better known as Flying Foxes. They are a pest and a nuisance, but we aren't allowed to do anything about them as they are protected. Now, I don't mind them. They are fine. But when the population gets larger than what is good for the gardens (and the rest of Sydney), then it's time to do something about them.

The second picture is of a flower that grows in the Koi Pond in the gardens. I don't know the name of the flower, so if you do can you please leave a comment and tell me. It's pretty.

Enjoy.
