Well...what do you know...Life DOES go on...

I did not make it into Small Music Ensemble, but that is all okay. I'm not really worried about it, but it would have been nice to have been in it just one more time. It just gives me more time to do up coming assignments that I have to have completed by the end of my prac. Also, I think Small Music would have been during the first week of my prac, so I would not have been able to perform in it anyway. Too inconvenient. So...as the title suggests...

Today the Women's Sporting Competition (mentioned in the previous post) had their soccer comp. Each college plays the other once. We did brilliantly today, as (there being eight colleges) we drew three games and won four. This means that we came out with 18 points in the end (3=win; 2=draw; 1=loss). This is a large improvement on last year's effort, where I don't think we probably won more than one or two, and who knows whether we drew any at all. Considering most colleges at least lost one game (I believe), this may place the college as first for soccer for the year. That would be nice. The Men's Sporting Competition soccer is on tomorrow. Who knows how well they will go, but I hope they go just as well as we did. So far, overall, D&S are coming first or second in the Women's Competition; it would be nice to maintain that form throughout the year.

Apart from having to go out and buy foundation for the first time since my Year 12 formal, I don't think there is anything really exciting to say. Oh, and...they didn't have the type that Mum and I got back in 1998 (it had been discontinued), so I had to go to a different type...but fortunately it is in the same brand. :)

Anyway...no more interesting news from down here, where the weather is a balmy 19*C tomorrow (23*C today), with a low of 5*C tonight. :) Seeya'!
