Home again, home again, jiggidee jog...

No, I don't care if I have spelt that word, wrong, either. :)

I am home again in Sydney. Hopefully, all is well on the Uni front, and I will definantly be graduating in October. Will find out on the 18/19th of this month for sure.

Prac finished well, I received several Highly Commended, and one Very Satisfactory from my teacher, making my report look very good. But the kids seemed very easy. I did let them go a little bit the last day of term, but that was only Year 9, and they had nothing better to do. Not really, but I had already set up to change rooms, and so...Year 8, though, were on a sugar high from the previous class, so I had a fun time trying to get them to sit down and listen and learn about World Poverty (no, not World Peace). Which, of course, they aren't totally interested in. But it was their last Geography double for the year, so they were overjoyed...which I can understand. I think, though, that they should make Geography and History run for the whole year, not for one semester each year for the first two of High School. Oh well. I guess it works best that way.

I got back to Sydney last Sunday. Life is alright. I haven't done much since I got back. I got in touch with the person that finds me casual work during the holidays, and hopefully I'll be able to get some work through them until I am approved by the Dept.

I have a twenty-first birthday to go to tomorrow. That is up on the central coast, around L. Mac. area. Staying with relos overnight, so I don't have to travel home, or impose upon the birthday girl's family tomorrow night after the big do. Also, it means that I get an early night and get away early from there the following day. I have another twenty-first to go to in Dorrigo on the 13 of next month. I get all these invitations from people at Uni, and I don't know how I will sometimes get around to getting to them. Mum and I, though, are planning a trip away from Sydney, which will take in Dorrigo at that time, so that's alright. :)

Anyway, got to go. Seeya' round!
